Kiddocap is a head protection designed for children aged 1 to 3 years, integrated into a light, comfortable and discreet hat.

Designed to accompany the first daily discoveries, Kiddocap helps mitigate minor everyday bumps within its intended use, while maintaining the natural appearance of a comfortable-to-wear hat.

Because first steps, first impulses, and first discoveries deserve careful accompaniment.

Who Kiddocap is designed for

Kiddocap was designed for children aged 1 to 3 years.

Its inner adjustment allows the circumference to be adapted between 46 and 52 cm. We recommend checking your child's head size to ensure the product is within this adjustment range.

It supports toddlers during a period when they are learning, moving, exploring and gaining independence every day.

To provide the expected comfort and protection, Kiddocap must be worn correctly and used only for its intended purpose.

How to install the shell in the hat

Before putting Kiddocap on your child, make sure the protective shell is correctly installed in the hat.

In 5 simple steps

1. Turn the hat inside out

Place the hat inside out on a clean surface to easily access the interior.

2. Open the headband

Open the headband and locate the back of the hat, where the adjustment band passes.

3. Pass the adjustment band between the shell's tabs

Insert the hat's adjustment band between the two tabs located at the back of the protective shell.

4. Push the shell inside the hat's dome

Gently place the protective shell inside the hat's dome, ensuring it fits snugly against the inner shape.

5. Close the headband over the shell

Then replace the headband so that it correctly covers the shell and helps keep it in place.

How to properly wear Kiddocap

Proper placement is essential for your child's comfort.

In 3 simple steps

1. Check the shell's position

Before placing Kiddocap on your child's head, ensure that the protective shell is well installed, well positioned, and stable inside the hat.

2. Position the hat correctly

Gently place Kiddocap on your child's head, just like a normal hat.

Make sure it is low enough to cover the front of the forehead well, without impeding visibility. If necessary, you can slightly lift the front brim of the hat.

3. Adjust with comfort

The product should be stable, comfortable, and allow your child to move naturally.

Adjust the chin strap by raising the adjustment button, then adjust the inner circumference at the back of the hat to achieve a comfortable and secure fit.

Before each use

Take a few seconds to check that Kiddocap is ready to be worn. ✨

Make sure that:

  1. the product is clean and in good condition;
  2. the inner shell is firmly in place;
  3. no part appears cracked, deformed, or displaced;
  4. the product still fits your child comfortably.

If anything seems abnormal, it is best to discontinue use.

Maintenance

To preserve the quality and comfort of your Kiddocap:

  1. remove the shell from the hat;
  2. machine wash the cotton hat on a gentle cycle;
  3. clean the shell by hand with a mild soap, carefully and delicately;
  4. allow all components to dry completely before reuse;
  5. avoid excessive heat sources;
  6. do not make any modifications to the product.

Proper maintenance helps preserve the product over time.

  2. to benefit from the intended protection, ensure the shell is properly in place;
  3. remove all packaging before giving the product to the child;
  4. do not use during sleep;
  5. Kiddocap is designed to help mitigate minor everyday bumps within its intended use;
  6. Kiddocap does not replace a bicycle, ski, or sports helmet;
  7. it is not intended for activities requiring certified protective equipment.

No product can offer absolute protection in all situations. If the product is damaged, deformed, cracked, or abnormally worn, discontinue use.
